Pedagogical Leadership Coaching
A sustained professional learning partnership designed to strengthen
educator capability, pedagogical thinking, leadership and the quality
of everyday teaching practice.
COACHING PARTNERSHIPS
Early Years Educators hold extraordinary knowledge, experience and potential. But within the pace and complexity of kindergarten practice, there is rarely enough time to stop, think deeply together, question what has become familiar and explore what else might be possible.
Pedagogical Leadership Coaching creates that space.
Welcome to a sustained learning partnership that works alongside Early Years teams to strengthen pedagogical thinking, professional confidence and the quality of everyday teaching practice. Choose from three levels of support depending on the needs, ambitions and priorities of your team. From accessible self-guided professional learning through to high-contact pedagogical coaching and whole-team inquiry.
01. Seed
A self-guided professional learning pathway for teams to access pedagogical resources & structured opportunities for reflection & development.
02. Garden
A sustained coaching partnership combining online coaching, face-to-face pedagogical workshops, reflective practice and targeted team inquiry.
03. Ecosystem
A high-contact pedagogical partnership for organisations ready to deepen inquiry, strengthen leadership & embed sustainable change.

Why a studio?
We use the metaphor of the studio as a bold and creative place where ideas are given room to gather, collide, be tested, pulled apart and encountered differently. In artistic practice, the studio holds works in progress alongside experiments, materials, questions, fragments and possibilities. Its value lies in what can emerge when people have the time and conditions to stay with an idea before deciding what it needs to become.
The Slow Teacher Studio™ brings this culture into professional learning. Rather than approaching pedagogy as something to be delivered through training, the Studio creates the intellectual and creative conditions for educators to inquire deeply into the educational worlds they are already making together.
Bringing Theory Into Practice.
The Studio creates space for theory and everyday practice to encounter one another. Creative processes, research and theory become ways for educators to investigate the everyday life of their own setting and produce pedagogical knowledge together.Â
For organisations, this creates a conceptual gathering place where ideas can circulate, deepen and take unexpected directions. Over time, a shared culture of inquiry can grow, one where educators develop the language, intellectual confidence and curiosity to keep thinking, questioning and researching their pedagogy together.
Why are the Pedagogical Leadership offerings structured in tiers?
How do we know which tier is right for our organisation?
Is this professional development for our whole team, or is it only designed for leaders?
What makes this different from bringing in a consultant for a one-off professional development session?
Can our organisation access these offerings via the SRF in Victoria?
Can these offerings be tailored to our SRF priorities?
"We have all thrived with these offerings and encouragement & have vowed as a team to continue this opportunity"
